Center Manager
He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University and completed his master’s degree in polycrystal modeling and his PhD in manufacturing methods while working as a research assistant at the same university, receiving his doctoral degree in 2019. In 2020, he began his position as a faculty member in the Department of Materials Engineering at Marmara University, where he currently continues his work as an associate professor. He has extensive experience in TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB, KOSGEB and various externally funded projects; university–industry collaborations, technopark companies, entrepreneurship, and patent processes. In this context, he has been actively serving as the director within MITTO since 2021.

He graduated from Sakarya University, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2012. He began his Welding Engineering education at Gedik University in the same year and completed it in 2013. He also completed his Master's degree at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2017. After working as an engineer in the field of Welded Manufacturing, he worked as a marketing and business development manager in the private sector. In 2016, he started working at MITTO in the field of University-Industry Cooperation and was appointed as a lecturer at Marmara University in 2018. He currently works in the field of University-Industry Cooperation at MITTO.

Born in 1987 in the Of district of Trabzon, he completed his undergraduate studies in the Physics Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Marmara University and his master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Institute of Science at Marmara University. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Atomic and Molecular Physics at Istanbul University's Department of Physics. He has worked as a lecturer at various universities for a number of years, teaching associate, undergraduate, and graduate degree courses and serving as program chair. He has also worked as a laser technical service specialist and medical device certification specialist in the private sector. His primary areas of expertise are fiber and carbon dioxide lasers, laser-tissue interaction, and medical CE certification.

She graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul University's Faculty of Engineering in 2011. She completed her associate's degree in Foreign Trade at Anadolu University's Open Education Faculty in 2015 and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Anadolu University's Faculty of Business Administration in 2018. She worked as an industrial engineer in the private sector for approximately two years and joined the Marmara University MİTTO team in 2020. She currently works in the Intellectual and Property Rights Unit.

She began working at Yıldız Technical University in 1998 as an Executive Assistant in the Private Office. She graduated from the Department of Public Relations and Publicity at Anadolu University. In 2003, she began working at Marmara University and served in various administrative units of the university for many years, undertaking responsibilities related to administrative operations, internal coordination, and the management of operational processes. With her many years of administrative experience gained within the university, she worked in coordination with different units of the institution.
As of 2026, she began working at the Innovation and Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (MITTO) at Marmara University. Within MITTO, she is involved in the execution of administrative processes, internal and inter-unit coordination, and activities aimed at ensuring the effective continuation of the Center’s operations.

She graduated from Abant İzzet Baysal University's Department of Food Engineering in 2013. She worked as a Responsible Manager in production, quality control, and export in the private sector. After completing her master's degree in biomaterials at Marmara University in 2018, she is currently pursuing her doctorate in Bioengineering at Yıldız Technical University. She worked as an R&D engineer in biotechnology companies. During this time, she worked as a researcher in various TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB projects, specializing in project writing, monitoring, and reporting. She gained experience in the preparation and application processes of European Union projects. She has published research articles in high-impact journals in the field of tissue engineering. She joined the Marmara University MİTTO team as a lecturer in 2022 and works in the Project Support area.

He graduated from the Department of Bioengineering at Marmara University in 2019. In 2022, he completed his master’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Marmara University. Following the completion of his master’s degree, he began his PhD studies in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Marmara University in 2023. He has worked in the private sector as a Bioengineer and Production and Planning Engineer. He has also served as a researcher in TÜBİTAK projects. In 2026, he joined the Marmara University MITTO team as a lecturer and currently works in the field of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights.

She graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Istanbul University in 2015. She completed her master’s degree in Mathematics Education at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and is currently pursuing his PhD studies at Marmara University. She gained extensive professional experience through many years of teaching in the education sector, followed by serving as an assistant principal, where she actively took part in administrative and management processes. As of 2026, she has been serving as a lecturer within the Marmara University MITTO team and is working in the Project Support Unit.

Lecturer Ömer Barın graduated from the undergraduate program in Polymer Engineering at Yalova University and completed his master’s degree in Polymer Materials and Technologies at Eastern Michigan University. He also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the same university and was involved in educational activities.
Throughout his professional career, he has worked at Akplas, Coatings Research Institute, AkzoNobel, and Boeing, gaining experience particularly in coating technologies for aerospace applications, R&D, project management, and advanced material systems.
At MITTO, he carries out activities related to entrepreneurship, company formation, and commercialization. He is responsible for the technical and commercial evaluation of patents developed within the university, licensing, industry matching, and patent commercialization processes.
