Our Quality Policy

Marmara University Innovation Technology and Transfer Office (MITTO) is constantly working to make the advanced scientific and technological knowledge generated at Marmara University available for use not only in Türkiye but also internationally. Our work is not limited to the university and academic community but also integrates with the industrial sector. In this process, we aim to conduct the technology transfer necessary to translate academic research into real-world applications at the highest standards. By focusing on patenting scientific research, protecting intellectual property rights, and providing support for start-ups and innovative projects, we serve as a bridge between academics, researchers, and entrepreneurs. Ultimately, MITTO acts as a catalyst for making academic knowledge and technology available at the highest quality and ethical standards for the benefit of all humanity.

In this context, as MİTTO;

We develop strategies for more efficient use of existing infrastructure and continuously make improvements in this area. Furthermore, by aiming to match new and exciting technologies with the industrial sector, we make significant contributions to R&D-based knowledge and production capacity at regional and national levels. By fostering continuous and effective collaboration between universities and industry, we establish platforms for both parties to learn from and develop each other. We also play an active role in Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights, creating appropriate environments for the registration, protection, and commercialization of these rights. We also facilitate the launch of innovative ideas by organizing various programs and training programs to promote and support the entrepreneurial spirit. We also implement various community services and social responsibility projects to enhance the university's interaction with the city and its surroundings. As MİTTO, we aim to achieve the objectives of our Quality Management System in full compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard and legal regulations. We review our quality policy periodically, taking into account our Strategic Plan. In this process, we aim to implement an effective and successful Quality Management System in all business processes of MİTTO by ensuring continuous improvements with the opinions and recommendations we receive from our stakeholders.
